About Estates Done Right
We provide facilities and estate management, project delivery and focused reviews for commercial property owners and occupiers, with scope, responsibilities and outputs agreed before work starts.
Built on experience
Jonathan Ward began his career with 12 years in RAF mechanical and electrical engineering. He later held responsibility for UK diplomatic estates overseas and led facilities and property work in the private sector, including commercial portfolios, data centres and capital programmes.
Estates Done Right was established to bring that experience directly to commercial landlords, owner-occupiers and operational businesses. We help clients understand the position, decide what matters and keep the work moving. Based in the Midlands, we agree location and attendance requirements for each engagement.
Our services connect technical detail with budgets, contractor coordination and commercial decisions. Delivery arrangements, reporting and service limits are agreed to suit the engagement.
How we work
01 / UNDERSTAND
Review the records, responsibilities and arrangements in place. Separate what is evidenced from what still needs checking.
02 / AGREE
Agree the scope, fees and what you need from the engagement before work starts. Give each action a clear owner.
03 / FOLLOW THROUGH
Coordinate the people involved, track progress and give you practical reporting you can act on.
It runs through good facilities and estate management: competent contractors, sensible site arrangements, clear responsibilities and following up outstanding actions.
That's how EDR approaches it across compliance reviews, project delivery and FM support.
EDR reviews evidence and helps coordinate action within an agreed scope. Specialist assessments, statutory inspections, technical certification and legal advice sit with the appropriately appointed specialists.
An initial review can stand on its own. You can use the findings with your own team, whether or not you ask EDR to support the next steps.
We’ll discuss what needs attention, what you already have in place and the service that would help. Scope, responsibilities, outputs and fees are agreed before we start.
